We’ve learned a lot about how to plan a micro-wedding this year and if we’ve learned one thing it’s that what they lack in size, they make up for in details! We’d like to share our best tips on putting together a micro wedding to help you figure out if it might be the best option for you.

Embrace the non-traditional venue

Whether it’s the steps of the Supreme Court, a backyard, or the rooftop of a restaurant you’ll want to find a space designed for an intimate gathering of people. Most wedding venues are designed for much larger parties. Because your non-traditional venue may not be super experienced with the flow of a wedding day, it’s especially important to have a planner to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Even if every other aspect of your wedding is scaled down, your photography budget should not.
